| Seaside Naturals P.O. Box 2097 Short Beach, CT 06405 (800) 870-1697 www.seasidenaturals.com Winner of two back-to-back (in 2004 and 2005) New Product Showcase Awards in the personal care category as voted by retailers at Natural Products Expo East, Seaside Naturals was founded by David and Linda Zielski “to provide all-natural, non toxic living solutions for health-conscious people, and in doing so, promote a robust relationship between humans and the delicate planet we inhabit.” This mission statement translates into cleaning products, first aid kits, and, most recently, earth-friendly baby care products. As the Zielskis are parents, it follows that their product development is family-oriented as well as environmentally conscious. For example, the hemp-fiber diaper bag in Seaside Naturals’ recently introduced Simple Pure Baby line not only comes stocked with a variety of baby care products—adapted from on formulations originally devised by a company Seaside purchased in 2004—but is black in color so that both poppa and momma feel comfortable carrying it. When the toddler outgrows the need for diapers, the bag can be brought to the beach or to soccer practice. The bag was the 2005 New Product Showcase award winner for the company, following its win in 2004 for the Nature’s First Aid Kits Travel Kit. Moreover, some of the first aid kits address childhood concerns above and beyond the occasional scraped knee. There is a kit of homeopathic and aromatherapy products to help address colic, for instance, and another to address the common childhood fear of monsters. In 2005, Seaside Naturals went into partnership with EnviroShine LLC to provide non-toxic cleaning franchises. Its product line also earned the endorsement of the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health: the renowned yoga retreat selected its Simple Pure Clean glass cleaner to help clean its facilities, and was considering the use of other products in the line. “We have been using non toxic, all natural cleaning products for more than three years and it is so inspiring when we meet with people that are so thankful and appreciative of the products we are producing,” added Linda Zielski, CEO and founder of Seaside Naturals. “Our products are made in harmony with nature and on a spiritual level analogous to the Kripalu mission. We are so happy to be providing them our products and look forward to a bright future with them.” |
