CONNECTICUT BASED GREEN MANUFACTURER HIRES NEW GENERAL MANAGER

Branford, CT – October 1, 2007 —  Seaside Naturals, a leading manufacturer of all
natural cleaning and personal care products, welcomes Ilona E. McGowan as the new
General Manager.   Ilona, originally from Mannheim, Germany, made her citizenship upon
enlisting in the United States Air Force and furthering her career with Unilever Home &
Personal Care, USA (formerly known as Chesebrough-Pond’s) and most recently Christ
Presbyterian Church.

“Ilona’s administrative, customer service, legal, accounting and logistics background will
serve our growing company very well,” said David Zielski, President of Seaside Naturals.  
“Her knowledge of these functions from her past experience with Unilever’s Home &
Personal Care division will allow for us to grow into a very successful manufacturer of all
natural home and personal care products.”

Seaside Naturals is almost 5 years old and has been manufacturing their line of “simple.
pure. clean.” all natural non-toxic cleaning products for over three years. Their line of
“simple. pure. baby.” all natural baby products are just entering their second year of
production and are growing at a tremendous rate. All of the products are made with all
natural ingredients and contain pure essential oils. No artificial fragrances, petroleum by-
products or synthetic preservatives are added.
